Cardinal Pointe North HOA residents are interested in restoring the natural areas on their neighborhood’s properties and integrating native species into their landscaping to help restore water quality and habitats. Impact7G assessed the natural areas and created a management strategy to best utilize HOA and City of Coralville Stormwater grant funding and maximize benefits to habitat, stormwater, and aesthetic.

By managing invasive species like reed canary grass, Canadian thistle, bush honeysuckle, barberry, and multiflora rose, we created space for live native plantings and naturally regenerating native vegetation to thrive.
