Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) is Iowa’s largest generation and transmission cooperative, supplying power across 58 of Iowa’s 99 counties through its 13-member system.

Impact7G utilized our full range of environmental support services for the expansion of an existing power plant, which effectively streamlined the permitting process and cut costs to the client. Staff from across nearly every department at Impact7G played pivotal roles in the incorporation of environmental considerations in the construction process. Our team was able to effectively coordinate with state and federal agencies to seamlessly comply with federal and state regulations to avoid lawsuits, project delays, or denial of funding for the client. The project quickly received National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) clearance and construction was allowed to proceed on schedule.
